About me

I was born and raised in New York City, the daughter of two crazy lawyers whom I love very much.

In part because I was introduced to yoga at a young age, I became fascinated by world religions and philosophy. I studied Hinduism, Buddhism, and Islam at Columbia, where I majored in English and graduated cum laude. I also have a master’s degree in Modernism from Oxford.

In 2012, I moved to Los Angeles and enmeshed myself in the city’s rich yoga culture. I fell in love with hot yoga and became certified to teach in 2015.

Since then, I’ve taught more than 1000 studio classes, led multiple 200-hour teacher training programs, held online workshops, and sold out my first retreat.
